It has been a while since I have talked here, and boy how things have changed. Spring 2011 Semester Begins at the University of Houston

So here I am in the Spring semester of my Junior year at the University of Houston. Some exciting news is that UH has achieved Tier 1 status which is a pretty big deal. Basically it acknowledges that the University has very high research activity. UH received more than $100 million in grants which was a big factor in receiving the status.
